The Caribbean Wildlife Enforcement Network (CAR-WEN) Working Group actively encourages participation from government agencies across the Wider Caribbean committed to strengthening wildlife enforcement and protecting biodiversity. While government agencies form the core membership of our network, we also provide opportunities for civil society organisations, researchers, private sector partners, and other stakeholders to engage with and support our mission.
Government Agencies – Full network membership is open to national governmental authorities actively involved in wildlife enforcement, biodiversity management, and broader law enforcement in the Wider Caribbean.
Public Observers – Non-governmental and non-Caribbean stakeholders are welcome to participate in public events and join a dedicated observer email list to receive periodic updates and information on the CAR-WEN Working Group’s activities.
Special Observers – Selected stakeholders invited to participate more actively in CAR-WEN operations, including selected meetings, technical work, and access to targeted materials.
Expert Advisers – Individuals or institutional representatives with specialised expertise invited to provide technical guidance, contribute to working groups, and support CAR-WEN’s initiatives.
Partners – Institutional partners such as donors, collaborators, private-sector entities, NGOs, and academic institutions that provide financial resources, technical support, or joint project implementation.
